Mushroom & Potatoes


Simple and sweet. Mushroom & Potatoes is a very easy dish to create and is perfect for those on a budget. The total cost of preparation is $3.64, feeds two.



  • one chopped potato
  • 5 tablespoons of chopped chives
  • 7 oz of chopped mushrooms
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • pinch of pepper
  • pinch of basil
  • 1 tbs of olive oil



Step one: Put your chopped potatoes in a pan & add in the olive oil, pepper, and basil.


Step two: Cover with tin foil and let cool on medium heat for 10 minutes. Dice your garlic while you wait. Stir occasionally.


Step three: Add in the mushrooms. Cover with the tin foil again and let cook for another 5 minutes on medium heat. Stir occasionally.


Step four: Add in the garlic & chives. Cover with the tin foil again and let cook for another 5 minutes. 


Step five: Serve! Mushroom & Potatoes is a great dish to make for the vegetarian hippie. It uses only natural unprocessed foods and leaves your bank account very happy. After all, it makes no sense to waste your money on processed food just so large corporations can get rich at the expense of your health.
